Assistant Professor of Biology (including BER)

St. Mary’s College of Maryland is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology, starting in August 2026. The position includes teaching core courses like Principles of Biology, Genetics, and Ecology & Evolution, as well as upper-level labs in areas like developmental biology or human anatomy. The ideal candidate will also build a strong research program that actively involves undergraduates and contribute to the college’s general education curriculum.

This role is part of an exciting cluster hire in molecular and cellular biology, focused on collaboration, innovative teaching, and community partnerships.
